Mendez High School Dress Code
All students are required to follow the LAUSD Student Dress Code [Bulletin 2549.1] guidelines every day. Students’ clothing should be casual and comfortable for the purposes of health and comfort. It is always appropriate for students to present themselves well by dressing in an appropriate manner. Clothing that distracts from the instructional process and/or is unsafe, is prohibited. Examples include but are not limited to:
Beanies and Hats
- Mendez Jaguar beanies and/or solid school-colored beanies ONLY
- Mendez High School hats ONLY
Shoes
Safe, closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times for safety. Slippers, flip flops, and Crocs are not permitted.
